Square Baby Hat
DESCRIPTION
The square baby hat is both a unique and quick project to make. This hat is worked from top to bottom and in continuous rounds, starting with a row foundation chains. To make this hat you only need to know two basic stitches- single crochet and half double crochet; that’s it! Whether you’re a beginner or an expert crocheter, this project will make a great addition to your pattern library.

newborn, (3-6 month, 6-12 month, toddler, child)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Circumference: 12, (14, 16, 18, 20) inches
Height: 5, (5.5, 6.5, 7, 7.5) inches
MATERIALS
- 2 skeins of Gazzal baby wool xl (I used the color orange)
- US size G-7, 4.50 mm
- Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
- scissors
CONSTRUCTION
This hat is worked top down and in the round, starting by working into both sides of a foundation chain row. The brim is made of half-double crochet ribbing. The pom poms are attached to either corner of the top of the hat.
