This pattern is for a set of five square nesting boxes, ranging in size from 6.5 - 11.5 cm² (2½ - 4½“²). They are stiffened with plastic canvas and worked in an attractive slipped rib pattern that is simple to knit.

You will need DK weight yarn, between 15g and 50g, depending on which size you are knitting and three sheets of 10 holes per inch plastic canvas.

The finished boxes are ideal for holding all those crafty bits and bobs and would also make good gift boxes. You can even use two sizes to make a lidded box.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease.
