Geometry equals drama in an oversize shrug constructed from a lacy medallion worked from the center out, folded, and seamed.

About blocking
I didn’t use blocking wires. I kept all sts on 3-4 long circular needles. It’s better to use smaller size needles.
I put pins inside cables to keep them in place. Then sprayed the water evenly on the piece.
For finishing: use smaller needle, work garter sts for few rounds. then bind off.
