English version
The Square Top has a difficulty level of 2/5. The pattern includes detailed descriptions to support the workflow.

The Square Top is worked from the top down. First, the front piece is worked, followed by the back piece, which is created by working chains from shoulder to shoulder along the front piece. The front and back pieces are then joined together with side seams. Finally, a “shell” edge is worked along the armholes and neckline.

The pattern includes two sizes: 1 (2) 3. See the measurements below.

Length (measured from shoulder): 53 (57) 61 cm
Width: 88 (96) 102 cm

The top is worked in a textured pattern using a 3.5 mm hook, with a gauge of 16 stitches / 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Worked using 1 strand of 150 (200) 250 g Filcolana Merci (50 g = 200 m). Shown in colour 612 Marshland.

Dansk version
Square Top har en sværhedsgrad på 2/5. I opskriften findes præcise beskrivelser der understøtter arbejdsgangen.

Scallop skirt hækles oppefra og ned. Først hækles forstykket, og dernæst hækles bagstykket ved at hækle luftmasker fra skulder til skulder langs forstykket. Forstykket og bagstykke samles herefter sammen med sidesøm. Afslutningsvis hækles en “muslinge”-kant langs ærmegab og halskant.
