SquareKnit Christmas Stocking brings a touch of old and a pinch of new to your festive celebrations!

This pattern combines classic three-round granny squares and traditional knitting. The pattern is written for Magic Loop technique but easily may be adapted for using other methods. Granny squares may be crocheted with three different colors or with a single one, descriptions and charts for both variations are available in the pattern.

SquareKnit Christmas Stocking is knitted using chunky/bulky yarns and easily can be made from start to finish in one day! If you are using different yarn weight - change the needle and hook sizes accordingly.

For my samples I used Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky -
55 g (82 yds/75 m) of Color 1,
72 g (107 yds/98 m) of Color 2,
50 g (75 yds/68 m) of Color 3.

Needle size - US9 (5.5 mm)
Hook size - US I (5.5 mm)

Gauge - 15 sts/20 rows to 4” (10 cm)

Finished Measurements:
7.5” (19 cm) across the leg,
17.5” (44.5 cm) from the top of the rib to the bottom of the heel,
12” (30.5 cm) from heel to toe.
