Squiggly Squirrels Blanket
Inspired by the cutest little critters that scuttle around our forests, the Squiggly Squirrels Blanket is sure to bring joy to all who see it. The colors are a perfect match of neutrals with sprinkles of color in the leaves and nuts.
This pattern is best suited for advanced beginner crocheters. The pattern produces a blanket that is 43” (109cm) wide and 60” (152cm) long, and it has instructions to adjust for other possible sizes. It is worked row-by-row with color changes to create the squirrel, branch, leaf, and nut motifs.
The pattern is written in English using US terminology. It includes step-by-step instructions and images.
Materials:
5mm crochet hook
2755 total yds (2519 m) of aran/worsted/size 4 yarn
Scissors
Stitch markers

I used Lion Brand Pound of Love, Heartland, and Color Theory yarn to make this. There is a kit available with all the yarn you need + a free PDF copy of the pattern on Lion Brand’s website.
