This is an easy pattern with a simple repeat that can easily be adjusted.

The resulting cotton cloth is thick and squishy and perfect to use as a dish or wash/facecloth.

Wash them into the washing machine on 30 or 40 degrees - there may be slight but insignificant shrinkage, but avoid tumble drying as this will shrink the cloth.

Gauge is not vital but I have included the gauge I worked at and the resulting size using an Aran weight cotton. Using a different weight and needle size will affect the finished dimensions.

Make a set in different colours so that you can have a clean one to use every day or present them to a friend or relation as a lovely gift. I use them as house warming gifts. Enjoy!
