This very easy to knit blanket is knit using a basic block stitch and a seed stitch border. The thick chenille yarn is squishy soft and warm. Knit the smaller size for baby or continue working to the larger size for a comfy winter throw. The blanket is knit flat on circular needles. An edge stitch technique is used (slipping the first stitch and k or p the last stitch) which forms a lovely chain edge for a professional finish. Squishy Squares is a perfect project for beginner knitters.
