Kits for this pattern are available from the designer, and include the pattern as well as yarn, stuffing, and a shallow dish to “pot up” your creations. An assembly video shows tips for finishing the project.

Build a beautiful mix of succulents with a range of colors and textures cozily squished together in a shallow dish or “planted” individually in tiny pots. This project is a great way to use yarn scraps with as little as 10-20 yards. It’s a nice skill builder with techniques including increasing, decreasing, and pleats. Succulents come in a variety of colors, so don’t feel stuck to green, and color ideas are given for each variety. Best of all, even with fuzzy “spines”, these cuties are safe to touch!

GAUGE
4” = 20 sts and 40 rows in Garter Stitch
Note: Exact gauge does not matter for this project, but make sure the fabric is dense enough that stuffing won’t show through.
