There are a lot of stashbuster patterns out there for fingering weight yarn, but I also routinely have a pile of worsted ends to be busted. And in our Canadian winters, there’s always room for one more scarf. So this pattern was born out of necessity, but it also knits up into a very cool-looking scarf. And it’s dead easy to boot. That’s a triple win in my book.

This scarf is knit sideways, with one strand of yarn per row. You will not need to darn in any ends, as the ends will be used for the fringe.

Go forth and round up your worsteds.
