The cable pattern down the front of this sock was adapted from Traditional Aran Knitting by Shelagh Hollingsworth. It has been modified for knitting in the round. Sock features additional heel and arch shaping to help the sock stay put. This is a great sock if you have skinny heels and/or high arches, but should work well for just about anyone!
This is my first ever written knitting pattern, so if you find errors please let me know!

Pattern corrections!!!
In cable pattern - when transitioning to rib and seed stitch at bottom of the design - it should read (k1,p1)2 times, not 4 times
Round four of cable pattern should include instructions to p2,k2,p1 after the cable crosses in parentheses.
Round eight of cable pattern should include instructions to p1,k2,p2,k2,p1 after the cable crosses in parentheses.

Heel shaping - decreases should be continued until there are 8 stitches on needles not 12, and under sole and arch shaping, you will place 4 not six stitches from the sole needle to each of the side gusset needles.
