This is the second of the Stablemates series to be published; the photo collage shows 2 more to be released soon. Purchases will be linked so that buying any one of the series gives 75% discount on all others, prior purchases are included.

Horses shown are all worked in thin chenille, but any yarn may be used. The body is worked in 3 threads together, so fingering weight is recommended.

Using recommended yarn and hooks will give a horse approx 28cm long, from nose to tail.

Different body parts are worked in 1,2 or 3 thicknesses of yarn and hook size varies to suit.

The lower legs require crocheting eyelash yarn in the round which can be difficult. It is therefore not recommended for beginner crafters.
