Stacked Pears is a two-color stranded design for baby socks. The socks are knit in the round from the top down with an eye-of-partridge heel.

Yarn: You will need approximately 50 yards of a sock yarn in the main color and approximately 30 yards of a sock yarn in a contrasting color for best results. It is recommended that at least one of the yarns be a solid color to make the pattern pop.

Supplies:

  • 4 US size 2 double-pointed needles
  • 2 stitch markers
  • tapestry needle

Sizing: Finished socks will measure approximately 4.5” in circumference and approximately 4” heel to toe. They will fit most 6-12 month infants.

This is the pattern for Week Twenty-Eight of Pattern a Week at Running Jack Knits.
