The design of this double knitted scarf can easily be adjusted to any size as an afghan/blanket or used as base for anything else you would like to double knit.
Stained Glass Scarf can be made from any yarn you like although I recommend yarn with a long gradient color way. Also you can use yarn in any thickness you like. Best make a swatch though to be sure you end up with the desired size. By making a swatch you can also adjust the form of your squares/rectangles. Each yarn has another gauge and therefore you might want to adjust the number of stitches and needles required to form squares. I used 8 stitched and 12 needles to form the squares in my latest Stained Glass Scarf. (made of Lang Yarns Viva)

Notes: the female version is made from Katia Ingenua.
Katia Ingenua col: 74 - 2 skeins
Katia Ingenua Moda col: 106 - 2 skeins

April 2023: I added to the pattern the description of Stained Glass Scarf Revisited knit from Schoppelwolle Zauberball Crazy. This version has borders in Reverse Stockinette Stitch.
