Stained Glass Shawl measures 16” from neck to bottom hem and 68” along the curve at the lower edge. This shawl is knitted in 5 sections, with a multicolored hand painted yarn, from the neck to the bottom of each section. Then stitches are picked up and knitted along each upright side with the solid yarn to form inter-section panels which are joined either with 3 needle bind off or with kitchener stitch.
Stitches for the bottom, neck and center front edges are picked up and knitted in garter stitch.

Almost the entire skein of solid was used as was most of the second skein of multicolor yarn.
