This pattern is a “Stanley” Cup Cover. Designed to work with various 40 ounce handled tumbler with a design similar to those of the Stanley brand. No gauge was done for this pattern. It relies heavily on tension. you made need to adjust hook size accordingly. While this pattern fits many Stanley style cups including the original Stanley 40 ounce tumbler without any pattern modifications it is not a 1 size fits all pattern. For off brand Stanley cups you may need to adjust the number of rows you use. Materials include 1-2 colors of worsted weight acrylic or cotton yarn you should not need more than 250 yards. Buttons are not required but can be used. 4.5mm hook is needed to complete the pattern.
