The ‘Star’ was constructed out of sixty four 2 coloured squares, those that were knitted from one corner to another with a change over of colour at the half way point.

When creating this design I wanted to see how I could use single plain coloured squares and the 2 coloured squares to create a simple motif. I love how the thick lines overlap each other in the centre.
This motif looks stunning on the white background and having it hung diagonally makes it stand out from the others.
