MATERIALS
• Omega Eulali super fine (fingering) weight cotton yarn (3 1/2 oz/394 yds/100g per skein):
2 skeins #25 tobacco (MC)
1 skein #28 coffee (CC)
• Size 5/1.9mm steel crochet hook
• 1/2 yd coordinating fabric
• Coordinating sewing thread and sewing needle
• Large-eye needle with sharp point
• 8 (1-inch) 20-hole buttons
• Magnetic clasp

GAUGE
10 rows of alternating star sts and hdc = 2 inches; 8 star sts = 2 inches

PATTERN NOTES
All color changes will be on the same side of the piece. Thread can be carried up the side. It will be hidden in the seam.
Chain-2 at the beginning of a row does not count as a stitch.
Feel free to add a few extra chains to the beginning chains so you are sure to have enough when you get to the end of the starting row. The unused ones can be removed later.
