A charming repeating star design that makes a perfect baby blanket gift, or knit a larger version to throw over a sofa.

Features a simple moss stitch border and an all-over star motif to complete any nursery look.

Row-by-row, written instructions using only knit and purl stitches—ideal for beginners, while also relaxing for more experienced knitters.

Includes guidance on scaling the blanket to any size, so you can knit for babies, kids, and adults.

For the smallest size, the blanket measures approximately 21” x 23” (about 53 x 58 cm) using 4mm needles and 150g of baby DK/ 8ply/ weight 3 yarn. This is a guide—you can use any yarn weight and appropriate needle size with enough yardage to finish your project.

Clear instructions to enlarge both width and length to your desired dimensions.

Tension (example): Stocking Stitch 22 sts = 10 cm / 4”, 28 rows = 10 cm / 4”.

You’ll need to know these four basic techniques: cast on, knit, purl, cast off.
