This beginner-friendly, Star Cat Hat crochet pattern is super cute and customizable! It works up very quickly and requires minimal sewing (the base of the hat is seamless, but the stars require some sewing).

The base of the hat is made with two strands of worsted-weight yarn held together with an 8mm hook. You can use a thicker-weight yarn if you wish, so long as the gauge is met (or if you want your hat to be a different size).
The stars are made with one strand of worsted-weight yarn with a 3.5mm hook.

This pattern uses US crochet terms and includes pictures to help you along the way.

Materials needed to make the hat:
-Blue worsted weight yarn for the hat base, about 100 g.
-Yellow worsted weight yarn for stars, about 15g.
-8mm hook for the base of the hat
-3.5mm hook for the stars
