Star Dust is a fun and striking blanket worked in an original and
totally reversible stitch pattern made of only knits and purls. All
the borders are worked in seed stitch with the body in one piece.

The need for blocking is minimal, and the result is both unusual
and pleasing.

The large scale of the motif is accentuated by the use of a bulky weight yarn, the pattern is intuitive and can be easily memorized after a few repeats. Scaling is also very easy by adding or subtracting pattern repeats. The pattern contains both a lap sized blanket and a full sized afghan, and is easy enough for an adventurous beginner. Worked in bulky weight wool, this makes a fast project with sure to please results.
