A play on a sister pattern, Star Mittens, both designed at about the same time. This is a mix of knitting (stranded colourwork) and crochet. Makers with experience knitting from a charted colourwork pattern and crocheting in sprial rounds will find this a quick and whimsical project to make. Grab some treasured scrap amounts of yarn, vintage (or orphaned) buttons and you’ll have a fish done in no time.
