About the Pattern: I was looking for a floral embellishment to add to a poncho design but couldn’t find anything that was exactly what I wanted. After a little experimentation, I came up with this quick and easy flower that reminds me of both a star and a lotus. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

This flower would make a beautiful embellishment for a hat, cowl, poncho, shawl, and many other items. Sew it on to your garment or accessory or attach a pin backing so you can use it on multiple items.

It would also make a wonderful decoration if you attach a piece of clear plastic to the back so you can float it in a container of water with a battery-operated votive candle on top.
