If you see a shooting star don’t forget to make a wish!

Star Rain is a lace semicircular-shaped shawl knitted from the top down.

The pattern includes charts and all the necessary pattern notes; row-by-row written instructions are not included. All charts show only the right-side rows. On the wrong-side rows all stitches are worked as they face you (except for the edge stitches).
Only charts

Skill Level: Intermediate

Total Rows: 160

It is strongly recommended to use natural fiber yarn (linen, cotton, wool, and silk) or yarn including a minimum synthetic fiber; approximately 500 to 800 m 545 to 875 yds per 100 g.
Gauge is not crucial and can be changed to fit the desired yarn. Finished measurements and the required yardage will depend on yarn choice, needle size and your individual manner of knitting.

Materials used:
 Size 3.25 mm / US 3 circular needles;
 Size 2.0 mm crochet hook for binding off;
 Stitch markers, tapestry needle, and a waste yarn.

The sample is shown in Aade Lõng Artistic 8/1 Yarn (100% wool; 800 m 875 yds per 100 g).
The sample shawl required 840 m/920 yds or 105 grams of yarn.

Finished Dimensions: 176 cm 69″ wingspan and 88 cm 34 ½″ deep, relaxed and measured after wet blocking.
