Star Flower Hexagon Pattern

Imagine what you could make with these beautiful star flower hexagons…afghans, pillow covers or even doilies or motifs for clothing using thread.

You can make this pattern with any yarn & hook size. I have used an I/5.5mm hook with worsted weight yarn and a G/4mm hook with #3 silk bamboo yarn. It would also work for thread projects with a smaller hook.

With worsted weight yarn & an I hook, each hexagon measures 10” across.

Each hexagon uses about 1 oz. of yarn so this would make a great scrap busting project….make multiple colors and sew them together to make a gorgeous scrap-gan or make them all one color and create an elegant heirloom.
