This is a basic scraf pattern with a star motif with a ribbed border either side of the make star stitch. The sides can roll, so recommend blocking. You can make it as long or short as you like and can add tassels as a finishing touch.

The scarf I knitted used 10ply wool on 6.5mm needles.

I added 15 tassels to each end of my scarf. Each tassle was made using 9 pieces of 25cm yarn, which I folded in half and used a crochet hook to thread through the ends of my scarf.
