About the Pattern:
The Star Socks utilize intarsia and the Samba Heel to create a star-shaped heel. The pattern is worked top-down in the round using 2 or more colors.

Sizes:
1 (2) 3 (4) for a sock circumference of
7 (8) 9 (10) inches / 17.5 (20) 23 (25.5) cm or a foot circumference of 8 (9) 10 (11) inches / 20 (23) 25.5 (28) cm

Gauge:
32 sts / 40 rows = 4 x 4 in or 10 x 10 cm
Worked in Stockinette

Materials:
US 1 / 2.25mm circular needles/DPNs
US 1.5 / 2.5mm circular needles/DPNs

Preferred blocking supplies

Yarn Required:
MC - leg and foot - 200 (225) 250 (300) yd / 183 (206) 228.5 (274) m
CC- cuff, heel, toe 100 (125) 150 (175) yd / 91 (114) 137 (160) m
Additional CC colors may be used.

Recommended Yarn:
Any fingering weight or sock yarn. I recommend a wool-based yarn with some nylon, acrylic, or polyamide content.
