Materials
YARN: DROPS YOU 9, yarn group A, Hook 3 mm (US: 2,5/D-3), tension: 10 x 10 cm (4˝ x 4˝)=24 sts x 32 rows, 50g/1,8oz = 125m (136 yds); 100% cotton
12 skeins of yarn = 600g/21.6oz; 1500m/1632yds
Hook: 5 mm/H-8
Yarn Needle, Scissors, Stitch marker

Gauge
8 star sts and 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4˝ x 4˝)

Instructions for the sample:
Ch24
Row 1: Pick up 5 sts beginning in 2nd ch (= 6 sts on hook)), make a YO and pull through all 6 sts, work 1 ch to make a hole over the 6 sts.
* pick up 1 st in the hole, pick up 1 st in the side on the last of the 6 sts, pick up 1 st in same ch as the last of the 6 sts was picked up in, pick up 1 in each of the next 2 ch (= 6 sts on hook), make a YO and pull through all 6 sts, 1 ch , repeat across.
The last star stitch ends in the last ch, make 1 hdc in that last ch.
Row 2: ch1, turn.
Work 2 hdc in next “star hole”* and across and in the last st. (21 hdc)
Row 3: ch3, turn. Pick up 5 sts beginning in 2nd ch from hook, 3rd ch from the hook, 1st st, 2nd st and 3rd st (= 6 loops on hook) YO and pull through all six loops on your hook. * Pick up 1 st in the hole, pick up 1 st in the side on the last of the 6 sts, pick up 1 st in same ch as the last of the 6 sts was picked up in, pick up 1 st in each of the next 2 ch (= 6 sts on hook), make a YO and pull through all 6 sts, 1 ch , repeat across.
The last star stitch ends in the last st, make 1 hdc in that last st.
Repeat row 2 and 3 until row 11.
