About the Knitting Pattern
The Star Stitch Tunic Dress is designed for children from 6 months to 3 years old. It features a star stitch skirt panel and picot edgings at the neckline, armholes and hem. A three button back opening makes dressing simple. Worked in double knitting (DK) wool, this tunic is ideal for year round wear and perfect for layering over tights or leggings.

Design Details
The front and back pieces are knitted separately on straight needles and then sewn together. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline and armhole edges.

• 6–12 months
• 1–2 years
• 2–3 years

Yarn
Designed for double knitting (DK) wool. Suitable alternatives: USA Light Worsted or Australian 8 ply yarns. The dress shown is knitted in Sirdar Snuggly DK, shade Buttercup (526).
