I actually made this pattern before my Outlander blanket, but put it aside for a while. I finally finished in January 2017 and thought I better share it on here as well.

This is a blanket using Corner to Corner to create nine panels featuring characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation - Captain Picard, Commander Riker, Dr Crusher, Geordi La Forge, Data, Worf, Deanna, Wesley, and the badge. I’m a big fan of the show and wanted to have a cute blanket with them on it. The design is based on a children’s toy I saw, where the crew were wooden peg people. I used that as an inspiration and turned them into pixel peg people, ready to boldly go. I alternated the background for each panel, for visual interest, but you can do the backgrounds in whatever colour you prefer.

Each pattern is a PDF that contains a graph showing you the design, as well as written instructions to follow. Each panel uses around 600m of yarn, though due to the different colours different amounts are needed, and I didn’t keep an exact count of what I went through. The blanket is made panel by panel, and joined together at the end. I have included advice for that on my blog. Mine worked up to be good for a large throw, as I used a 3.5mm hook. Using a larger hook and thicker yarn would of course make it larger, as would adding a bigger border, if you wanted it larger for a bed. Enjoy!
