A simple and elegant poncho that crochets-up quickly. It is a summer poncho that could be made with cotton, linen, bamboo, hemp, silk, or any blend of those. It could also, of course, be made as a warmer piece by using wool, alpaca, etc. Worked flat, one seam, edging added at the end

I called this the ‘Star Wars’ Poncho because the cotton/bamboo blend I used is very close in colour to the Star Wars blue ( “A long time ago…”) and I crocheted it while re-watching the ten Star Wars movies. Actually, I finished the poncho before I finished the movies!

Poncho can be worn with the ‘point’ in front, in back or over one arm. Enjoy!

And may the force be with you!
