This pattern is for a welcome door banner that features a star at the bottom. This would be a great design for July 4th holidays, or Christmas, when a star represents so much. The pattern features filet crochet, which if you are not familiar with it, is a fun way of crocheting designs without having to change colors of yarn.

With the pattern, I’ve included links to a video on how to read graphs and do filet crochet with 3dc squares, as I do in this pattern. I’ve also included a link to a video on how to do a chainless foundation if you would like to start that way. In my experience, this gives a better finish at the bottom.

As always, you are welcome to sell the finished item made from my pattern, but do not give away or sell the pattern itself. I keep my prices low so that they are affordable. This fee helps me to keep crocheting and coming up with new patterns, and I appreciate it!
