A simple, symmetrical shawl knit from side to side, bordered by an edge of starry lace, like a band of stardust across the sky.
Stardust was kindled by the wonder of our galaxy and the amazing calm feeling I get when gazing at the sky at night.

Knit in fingering weight yarn, it takes as little as 100 g and can be even larger with more yarn.

Yarn: Lake Knit Yarns Pebble MCN, 1 skein,
115 g = 420 yds/384 m (70/20/10 Superwash Merino/Cashmere/Nylon). Sample shown in Stardust colour.

Needles: U.S. size 5/3.75 mm needles for knitting flat.

Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, blocked

Other Notions: 1 stitch marker, darning needle
