700 yards fingering weight yarn.
Sample shown in Moonstone Dyeworks, Merino Single base: 100% super wash merino, single ply. 400 yards / 100 grams. Colorway: Crescent Moon.
Needles:
US size 6 / 4.00 mm, at least 32” circular needles.
Notions:
Tapestry needle.
Optional:
2 stitch markers to separate garter edge from body of shawl.

Gauge:
16 stitches and 31 rows = 4” in horseshoe pattern after blocking.
