STARFISH CROCHET SQUARE
This is an updated version of the StarFish square. I designed it back in 2015 when I wanted to make a StarFish bedspread for our youngest boy. The original blanket was made with a sport weight 4 ply Cotton yarn with 12 different colors (Blues, Greens and browns) framed with a White background. Since then many of my local students and worldwide customers crocheted it using so many different beautiful yarns and color combinations. Feel free to play and make your own unique StarFish creation. There are a few beautiful Star Granny Squares out there, this is my Starfish granny square version.

LEVEL
This pattern is written step by step to make it easier for you to follow. You should be familiar with crochet stitches. I have created a video tutorial to help you along with the making. Also there’s a video that shows how to join the squares and another video that shows how to frame the blanket. This pattern is intermediate level and is written in US crochet terms.

It’s a 6 rounds square.
The StarFish square is about 4.2” x 4.2” (10.7cm x 10.7 cm) - measured at the end of rnd 6.

The sample in this pattern is made out of my Granny Kit cotton yarn in col: Fuchsia, Wheat, Lime Green & ShaleGrey. I have added the length of yarn that you will need for each round.
