Combining the beautiful properties of organically processed merino in all 3 natural colorways with a fun slip-stitch pattern and tiny cables to bring out the texture and allow this yarn to shine in a stylish neckline accessory. This cowl pattern is a 15 year anniversary design created in collaboration with my local yarn store Fibre Space and Gum Tree Farm - a Merino sheep farm in Middleburg, VA.

NOTES
This cowl is worked top down, first it is knit flat, then joined to be worked in the round.
Always slip sts purlwise.
When slipping the sts between the cabled sts, spread them out on the LN, so the float acquires enough length and doesn’t cinch the fabric.

GAUGE
18 sts and 38 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Starflock Stitch pattern, measured once dry after washing and blocking.
1 (6-sts) repeat measures approx. 1¼” / 3 cm wide and
1 (8-row) repeat measures approx. 1” / 2.5 cm tall worked in Starflock Stitch pattern, measured once dry after washing and blocking.
