US Size 3 (3.25mm) straight and 32”/80cm circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

24 sts and 48 rows = 4”/10cm in garter st, blocked. Take time to check gauge.

Notes
The Starlight Shawl is worked in strips. Each strip is attached to the previous strip using “join as you go” technique at the end of each RS row. A video tutorial shows how this is done. At the completion of a strip, its sts are added to the circular needle. After all strips are completed the sts on the circular needle are worked to create the border.
