StarPainter fingerless mitts, in keeping with my
StarPainter shawl, are inspired by painting Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. I had plenty of Morning Bright Organic Merino/Nylon sock yarn left over and knew the ripple section of the shawl would work for mitts. Both the left and right mitt are identical.

Finished Size: 7” long and 7 1/2” around the palm.

Materials: I used approx. 150 yards total of fingering weight yarn, in two colours. In the sample pictured above, I used Morning Bright Organic Merino/Nylon Sock Yarn with Starry as Main Colour (MC) and Night as Contrast Colour (CC). If you want to knit all in one colour, you will need about 150 yards of fingering weight yarn.

Longer mitts may be made by knitting additional repeats, as indicated in the pattern.
