Here’s a light and summery slouch hat designed with hand dyed sock yarn. Knit seamlessly in the round from the brim-up, this is a quick and fairly easy knit, with a distinct star worked into the decreases at the crown.

Please know that you are free to use your finished object from this, and any of my other patterns, for pleasure or for profit.

Materials: Morning Bright 80/20 Organic Merino/Nylon Sock (405 yards/100g), approximately 50g. Sample was knit with “Old Glory”. This is a very stretchy yarn. If you plan to substitute, I recommend a stretchy yarn.
