This pattern uses only a few yards in each red, white, and blue. If you have leftovers from another project, you don’t need to purchase a skein of each.

The gauge depends on the size of needle and weight of yarn, depending on what result you want. Using a size 7 (4.5 mm) hook and worsted yarn, the finished product should be approximately 87.5 inches.
