I came up with this easy pattern when I wanted to quickly crochet a bunch of winter apparel items for a church collection while using up my stash of leftover odds and ends of Caron Cakes. It’s a great project for crochet beginners, or for anyone who wants to use up leftover yarn.

You only need 3 to 3.5 ounces of yarn, and you can have fun mixing the colors. Because you’re working with two strands of yarn held together and a large (size N) hook, it works up very fast.
