A perfect project for either knitters or crocheters to use up stash yarns! This is a photo-tutorial for making a cowl, suited to your taste. Either make it snug to the neck or a bit drapey.

Mix and match all kinds of yarns: solids, variegated, textured, sparkly…anything goes. Instructions given for how to combine thinner yarns to make a chunky weight yarn and add interest to your cowl.

No button holes required due to large needle/hook stitches! And the cowl can easily be worn two ways: Vertically in the round or diagonally to fit more snugly around the neck.

Simple enough for beginning knitters and crocheters. Photos are of crochet version. Specs given for knitting this cowl also. This photo tutorial is located on my blog in the link above. Enjoy!
