This nutty acorn creation is the thing squirrel dreams are made of. Fill a bowl full of them on your table, tuck them away into the nooks of your book case, gather them in your pockets for a warm surprise or dangle them from a tree. Use them to bring woodland charm to any season.
This is an excellent stash-busting project to use up extra bits of fabric and balls of yarn. The fabric and yarn I used is 100% wool. Wool is my preferred material of choice because of the way it behaves when being worked and also because of the way dyes take to it. I used a variety of yarns and fabrics from my stash. See the included Resources page for specific details on sourcing materials. The Monk’s Cloth I used is 100% cotton.
Pattern includes instructions to make three different sizes of acorns.
