This is a shadow knit of Stede’s flag from Our Flag Means Death.

Since the image can only be seen at an angle it’s a fun little surprise for Stede’s flag and makes it look like the flag is moving in the wind a bit!

The size and yardage are both estimates. You can use any size needle or yarn you want as this is a wall hanging. using size 2 us needles and DK yarn the one i knit ended up being 8 inches wide and about 36 inches tall.

You will need 2 skeins of a DK weight yarn to get my measurements, though you can use any weight you like. I used about 300 yards of each color.
