Step-by-step crochet tutorial to create a crocheted Steering Wheel (this is a pdf crochet pattern, not the finished item!).
The pattern contains right handed instructions. The pattern is available in English (US terms). The PDF file (10 pages) will be available for download once payment is confirmed. The pattern contains 22 in-progress pictures.

CROCHET LEVEL: advanced beginner/intermediate.
This crochet tutorial is intended for those who already know how to crochet, the following skills are needed: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, back loop only, work in spiral rounds and rows.
Finished size
The steering wheel is 40 cm / 15.8’’ wide (with holders), 20 cm = 7.9’’ high and 7 cm / 2.8’’ thick (with the joystick: 14 cm / 5.6’’).
Materials needed:
- Yarn:
Main part: 5-6 wpi plush yarn (I used Alize Velluto)
Almost 2 balls of gray (main color)
Buttons/display: 12 wpi cotton-acryl yarn (I used Alize Cotton Gold)
5-6 g white
9-10 g black
1-2 g blue
a little bit of red
a little bit of yellow
a little bit of green
- 2.5 mm & 6.5 mm crochet hook
- fiberfill for stuffing
- stitch markers
- sewing needle
- scissors
