Le bonnet STEIG se tricote en rond, sans couture.
Vous démarrez par l’ourlet en montant provisoirement les mailles.
Une fois l’ourlet et la bordure tricotés, les mailles provisoires et celles sur l’aiguille sont connectées par un rang de fermeture.
Le reste du bonnet combine différents motifs jacquard et diminutions pour obtenir une forme pointue.
En finition, vous ajouterez un gland ou tout autre décor de votre choix.
Il faut 20 g caramel – 30 g framboise – 25 g vert citron – 35 g sable pour la plus grande taille (taille photographiée).

The Steig hat is knitted in the round, on circulars (my personal preference) or DPNs.
Knit the helix-striped lining first beginning with a provisional cast-on. After a fold line, you just have to follow charts 1 to 7.
To obtain a soft fabric, the work once completed must be warm washed with a wool detergent, rinsed, rid of as much moisture as possible (roll it in a large towel), sized and dried on a cylindric shape if possible. The wool will bloom up. Machine washing (cold wool cycle) is possible.
20 g (0,71 oz) caramel – 30 g (1,06 oz) framboise (rasperry red) – 25 g (0,88 oz) vert citron (lime green) – 35 g (1,25 oz) sable (sand) last for size 4
