The pattern is for a pretty and cute shooting star called Stella. It has been a pleasure creating this lovely pattern and my Stella will now have pride of place on our Christmas tree each year. It would also look fantastic as part of a child’s room decor. I hope you will love the pattern as much I have loved creating it.

The skill level for this pattern is Intermediate due to the assembly part which is slightly more tricky but I think beginners to confident beginners could definitely create a Stella from this pattern. It is availabe in English, UK terminology. I have included US terminology in the stitch abbreviations. The skills that are needed for this pattern are Amigurumi techniques including

  • magic circle
  • crocheting in the round
  • double crochet (US single crochet)
  • increase and decrease stitches
  • half treble crochet (US half double crochet)
  • treble crochet (US double crochet)
  • assembly sewing
  • embroidery detailing
