First a word of caution: This is not a full pattern written out in traditional form. This is my pattern notes, diagrams for the basic pattern, increases, and decreases, and tips and tricks to create your own version of the Stellar Sleeves Sweater. Your own yarn needs, type, hook size, and garment size and shaping can be altered by you to fit your needs exactly by using the notes and making adjustments where you need. There will be math. There will be measuring. There be swatch making, washing, and blocking. This pattern allows you to make a garment specific to your style and size needs.

This funky sweater is based on 1970s sweaters with big sleeves and tight bodies. It features a mock turtleneck, fitted body and upper sleeves, a slightly shortened hemline, and flared sleeves. With my pattern notes and information, you can take this basic idea and make it into anything you want. I include a discussion of raglan shaping, bust line options, and how I did a staggered start at the neckline. There are diagrams for the basic pattern, the increases, and the decreases. If you are up for a bit of a challenge that will result in you having a sweater with a perfect fit, come along!
