My slight obsession with stepped edges gave birth to this stunning shawl. It combines all of my favorite things - striping, lace, and, of course, stepped edges. Knit from the bottom up, this shawl uses 2 contrasting colors of your favorite fingering weight yarn. It showcases both yarns with alternating striped and lace sections. A stand out piece you can dress down with a pair of jeans or throw over a dress on chilly evenings.

Yarn: Approx 800 yds of fingering weight yarn, 400 yards of each color. Sample shown in YarnLoveYarn, Juliet, C1: Vespa, C2: Lagoon., 80% SW Merino, 20% Nylon.

Dimensions (AFTER BLOCKING): 71 inch wingspan, 35 inch depth

Needles: US size 6.

Notions: Tapestry needle.

Gauge: 28 stitches by 32 rows is 4 inches in garter stitch on US size 6 needles.
