These crisp fingerless mitts showcase a simple knit & purl only stitch pattern in a distinctive staircase design. They are lovely little hand warmers for the fall and winter, and a quick beginner-friendly project using less than 50 grams of DK weight yarn.

I have provided both written and charted instructions.

Materials
Approximately 130 yards of DK weight yarn. I used Arbor by Brooklyn Tweed in the colorway Degas.
3.5mm/US#4 & 3.75mm/US#5 circular needles or DPNs

Gauge
24sts & 32rws = 4” in stockinette stitch.
